How Magnitu Digital collects, uses and protects personal information when you browse this website or get in touch with us.

Last updated: October 2026

1. Who we are

Magnitu Digital ("we", "us") is a digital marketing agency based at Unit 29, N17 Business Park, Kilmore, Tuam, Co. Galway, Ireland. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us at brian@magnitudigital.com or +353 85 152 0277.

2. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Information you give us. When you submit an enquiry form, request a proposal or contact us directly, we collect the details you provide, such as your name, work email address, phone number, company name and the content of your message.
  • Booking information. When you book a call through the calendar on our contact page, our scheduling provider collects the information you enter, such as your name, email address and chosen time.
  • Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure records basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, for security and operational purposes.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, prepare proposals and provide our services; to manage our relationship with you; to keep our website secure and working correctly; and to meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

4. Our legal bases for processing

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we rely on the following legal bases: your consent when you submit an enquiry form or book a call; the performance of a contract when we provide services to you; our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries, improving our services and keeping our website secure; and compliance with legal obligations where record-keeping is required.

5. Who we share information with

We share information only with service providers that help us operate, such as our website host, form-processing provider, scheduling provider, CRM platform and email provider. These providers process information on our instructions. We may also disclose information where we are required to do so by law.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

This website keeps things simple. It does not run advertising or analytics tracking cookies. The following are used:

  • Theme preference. Your light/dark mode choice is stored in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device.
  • Third-party embeds. The booking calendar on our contact page (Calendly) and video players in our work examples (YouTube, loaded in privacy-enhanced mode) may set cookies when you interact with them. These are governed by the respective providers' own policies.
  • Fonts. Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. This does not set cookies on this website.

You can control or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. Blocking third-party embeds may affect those features (for example, the booking calendar).

7. How long we keep information

We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and maintain our business records. Where records relate to invoicing or company matters, we retain them for the period required under Irish law (generally six years).

8. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • access a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • have inaccurate information corrected;
  • have your information deleted, or its processing restricted;
  • object to processing, or withdraw consent at any time;
  • receive your information in a portable format.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).

9. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
